Pastor Emeritus, North Avenue Presbyterian Church, Atlanta, Georgia and Executive Director of JLW Foundation

The Rev. Dr. Scott Weimer, named one of Georgia Trend’s 100 most influential Georgians in 2006, is currently the executive director of the newly forming nonprofit, the Justin L. Weimer “Everything is a Win” Foundation, which has the goal of ending the stigma, shame, and silence surrounding mental health issues across the United States.

He retired from congregational ministry in 2019, after serving three dynamic congregations – most recently after serving for 22 years as Sr. Pastor of the North Avenue Presbyterian Church in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, a congregation known for its radical hospitality, dynamic worship, and genuine love for the community and world with groundbreaking work in U.S. minor sex trafficking and human trafficking.

Dr. Weimer’s greatest joys have always come from being a husband of 40 + years to Cynthia; a father to Christen, James, and Justin (always in our hearts); brother; uncle; cousin; and friend.
