Dr. Danjuma Gibson of Calvin Theological Seminary presented a daylong workshop “The Art of Soul Care” to pastors participating in Princeton Theological Seminary’s Pastoral Ministry Series. Dr. Gibson explored the art of soul-care for the 21st century pastor and focused on the question, “How can the pastor engage in self-care in away that preserves a coherent sense of identity in the wake of tragedy and trauma?” Dr. Gibson presented selected highlights from Healing the Healers which invoked rich discussion with the cross-section of experienced pastors from various backgrounds.
