Clinical Director of Counseling, ELBA and Adjunct Professor of Psychology at LCIW and former Youth Pastor
Jarrod serves as the director of clinical counseling at the ELBA counseling center in Walker LA. He has a BFA in Theatre from William Carey College and a Masters of Divinity in Psychology and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Jarrod also serves as an adjunct professor of Psychology for a local prison undergraduate program. Jarrod has worked with adolescents for more than two decades in a variety of capacities including camp staff, student minister, actor, group therapist, individual therapist, youth challenge mentor, and Volunteers in Public Schools mentor. In the last two decades he has served on multiple church staffs as well as working with parachurch organizations like Student Life and Young Life. Jarrod currently works as an individual therapist serving the adult and adolescent population in the Baton Rouge area.
